On last week’s episode, Jake Strong had an impressive singles debut, Worldwide Underground defeated The Reptiles but then Vibora emerged to destroy The Worldwide Underground. Matanza Cueto also had a sacrifice in the ring in the form of a brutal squash match. King Cuerno was victorious over Chavo Guerrero in a very good main event. On this week’s episode, Four Ancient Aztec Medallions are up for grabs. The Trios Champions do battle against each other and the main event pits The Machine Cage against The 1,000 Deaths of Mil Muertes. Let’s get right into the action for this week’s episode. Figure Four Weekly (12/21/15): Hulk Hogan and Nelson Frazier Lawsuit Updates
In a follow-up to last week, within an hour or two of this issue going to press, I was able to procure a copy of the newly-unsealed portion of the transcript from the June 24th hearing in Gawker’s lawsuit against the FBI. As expected, it outlines what we discovered a month ago: That the Tampa Police Department was building a grand theft case in the original theft of the DVDs of sex videos that were stolen from Bubba Clem’s office. Clem had initiated the investigation in May 2014 (about two and a half years after the DVDs were stolen) when the alleged culprit, Matt “Spiceboy” Loyd, tweeted photos of the…

Will Ospreay, Jimmy Havoc and Big Damo coming to Impact Wrestling
TNA President Dixie Carter announced today that Will Ospreay, Jimmy Havoc and Big Damo would all by on the Maximum Impact tour at the end of the month. TNA had put up the three names for a poll, although most figured that all three once they were named would participate. She said that the voting was so close that management decided to use all three on the tour, which consists of Impact tapings on 1/29 in Manchester, 1/30 in London and 1/31 in Birmingham. Ospreay is coming off some incredible matches over the past year in a number of U.K. promotions, as well as PWG in the U.S., and people were talking of his match last night in…

NJPW Road to New Beginning report: Nakamura bids farewell to New Japan
This morning literally marks the road to a New Beginning as Shinsuke Nakamura is set to make his final appearance in New Japan Pro Wrestling. Nakamura’s career has always gone in different paths than normal wrestlers who made their way through the New Japan system. He won the IWGP championship within his first year of wrestling, which is something that almost never happens, be it New Japan or anywhere else in the world. He was alright in his role as a main eventer, but came across as bland and uninteresting, perhaps due to the fact he was put in the spotlight very quickly and wasn’t able to find himself. It…

The Week In British Wrestling: Will Ospreay & Marty Scurll "Evolve"; Bodom vs. Dijak rocks RevPro
Here’s 5 things you need to know about British wrestling this week: 1) Preston saw the formation of the New Age Assh*les. Although I sometimes like to talk of the “Big 3” of ICW, PROGRESS, and RevPro, there are other promotions that – if you slightly changed your criteria for what makes a “big” promotion – could easily take the place of any of those outfits. WAW in Norfolk, for example, run big shows and have speculatively taped TV to hock around, and no-one runs as many shows a year as Brian Dixon’s All-Star Wrestling. However, if you’re judging on the criteria of big names being brought over, few deliver…

TNA ratings drop for all-cage Lockdown special
Despite being the heavily promoted Lockdown episode of Impact last night, the TNA audience dropped 23 percent from last week to 210,000 for the first run episode, easily the lowest in the modern history of the show. The replay did 87,000, identical to the previous week, but still tied for second to the lowest number since moving to Pop TV with first-run shows. The 297,000 total was the lowest as well, by a significant margin as the previous low was 345,000 on the debut show. Matt Hardy retained the TNA World Heavyweight Title over former champion EC3 in the main event after Spud turned on EC3 and cost him the match. EC3 was a…

A journey through NXT's big weekend at the Arnold Classic
Images c/o @WWENXT & @JJWilliamsWON In case you missed it, WWE’s NXT Experience was part of this past weekend’s Arnold Classic at the Greater Columbus Convention Center in Columbus, OH, for the second straight year. A good portion of the NXT crew and coaching staff along with WWE Champion, COO, and NXT head Triple H himself were there to promote the brand over the two days which featured in-ring action, Q&A sessions, and even a portion of a tryout camp. Day one’s highlight was HHH sharing a big surprise with us: Arnold Schwarzenegger himself. Click Here: camiseta seleccion argentina They spoke about fitness, inspiration, and made plenty of jokes. During the Q&A session, there were a few…
