According to Dave Meltzer on a recent edition of The Wrestling Observer Radio Program, WWE is ready to pull the trigger on Drew McIntyre and despite his loss against Dolph Ziggler on Monday’s RAW, the two are expected to go in opposite directions. Meltzer speculated that Ziggler will likely be pushed down on the roster but he will end up faring better than someone like Aiden English when English & Rusev split up. WWE’s TLC pay-per-view will be taking place this Sunday night, and one of the featured matches on the show will be Braun Strowman vs. Baron Corbin. If Strowman ends up winning the match, he will earn a Universal Championship match against Brock Lesnar, and Corbin will no longer have any authoritative power on Raw. However, if Corbin gets the victory, he will become the permanent General Manager of the Raw brand. According to Ringside News, Becky Lynch was so unhappy after having Asuka claim the SmackDown Women’s Championship with the help of RAW Women’s Champ Ronda Rousey at TLC that The Man dropped F-bombs to fans all the way back up the ramp to leave the show. After WWE announced on 205 Live this week that Dar had a knee injury that would require surgery, an article on WWE.com noted that Dar underwent successful surgery on his left knee in Orlando yesterday. WWE claims that Dar suffered the injury, which was a “bucket handle” tear of his meniscus, in the cruiserweight fatal four-way match on the November 27th episode of Raw. With WWE proceeding with Vince McMahon’s “shakeup”, several storylines that were very recently planned appear to have been dropped, according to The Wrestling Observer Newsletter. With the show just days away, Trish Stratus has been added to the lineup for Raw’s 25th anniversary episode. Stratus joins Nikki & Brie Bella, Jacqueline Moore, Torrie Wilson, Terri Runnels, Maria Kanellis, Michelle McCool, and Kelly Kelly as women’s wrestlers who will be making special appearances on Monday night.
