Orlando Ponce Scholarship Foundation offers free training opportunities
The Orlando Ponce Scholarship Foundation is offering free wrestling training opportunities for 12 wrestlers to attend Augsburg Wrestling Academy’s Fall, Winter and Spring programs. In addition, $200.00 Savings Bonds will be awarded to scholarship recipients that achieve perfect attendance. Details can be found in the Guidelines and Application below. Big 12 Wrestling Championship All-Session Tickets On Sale Oct. 7
Irving, Texas – Tickets for the 2017 Big 12 Wrestling Championship at the BOK Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma go on sale Friday, October 7 at 10 a.m. CT. The championship will play out Saturday, March 4 through Sunday, March 5. All-session tickets can be purchased by visiting Big12Sports.com/BuyTickets and include all four sessions of the championship. WWN’s annual Supershow took place as part of WrestleMania week tonight, with Matt Riddle defending his newly-won EVOLVE Championship against Will Ospreay in the main event: Here are full results from the show: DJZ, Trey Miguel & AR Fox defeated Austin Theory, Zachary Wentz & Travis Banks This was a Dragon Gate-style rules match where tags weren’t required. Two nights of trades and call ups have left Raw and SmackDown looking completely different. Overall, nineteen new additions are heading to Raw, while SmackDown adds seventeen people to their roster. In addition, six people have been called up from NXT, along with the Authors of Pain, Ember Moon, No Way Jose and the IIconics who were called up last week. Asuka, R-Truth, The Bar and Andrade ‘Cien’ Almas (with Zelina Vega) rounded out the Superstar Shakeup. Ahead of a possible title defense against Cody Rhodes at All In, Nick Aldis will be facing The Young Bucks on ROH’s Honor United tour. ROH has announced that Aldis, the current NWA Worlds Heavyweight Champion, will be in action at Honor United: Edinburgh on May 24th. The storyline for the match is related to Aldis appearing at All In, with him making it one of the stipulations of him agreeing to defend the title against Cody.
