Kirsten Gillibrand 2020: The #MeToo senator with eyes on the White House
The National Rifle Association used to love Kirsten Gillibrand. When she was appointed to the Senate, taking over Hillary Clinton’s New York seat in 2009, she boasted that she used to sleep with guns under her bed and recalled her family hunting their own Thanksgiving turkeys. Emmys Won't Have A Host, Following In Oscars Footsteps
BEVERLY HILLS, CA — Have you been curious about who will be hosting the Emmys this year? Well, don’t hold your breath because the answer is: nobody. Following in the footsteps of the Academy Awards in February, Fox Entertainment CEO Charlie Collier confirmed Wednesday that the Sept. 22 ceremony will be held without a host. “You have to look at tradeoffs,” Collier told reporters at the Television Critics Association’s gathering in Beverly Hills. “If you have a host and opening number, that’s 15 minutes you don’t have to celebrate the shows. Our production team has had to balance those tradeoffs. I think it will give us more time to honor…
