    Presler Named Academic All-American

    MOORHEAD, Minn. – Concordia student/athlete Adam Presler finished off his impressive junior season by earning College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) Academic All-American honors. The CoSIDA award is the highest Academic All-American honor a student/athlete can achieve as it recognizes both top academic and athletic achievement. The Academic All-American honor follows Presler’s NCAA Elite 90 award which he won following the NCAA National Meet for having the highest grade point average of any student/athlete at the national meet. Presler, who is a Mathematics Education major with a 4.00 grade point average, becomes the first Cobber wrestler to earn CoSIDA Academic All-American honors.     PARIS, France – U.S. Greco-Roman wrestlers competing on the first day of the 2017 World Championships combined for three wins, but none of the four entries qualified for the medal rounds in the evening at the AccorsHotel Arena on Monday. All four were competing in their first Senior Worlds.     ROCHESTER, Minn. – It was a fantastic finish as the final 12 weight classes were determined in the finals series of the USA Wrestling U23 World Team Trials at the Mayo Civic Center on Sunday.
