A right-wing militia group has begun detaining groups of migrant families at gunpoint on the US-Mexico border.  The group, which calls itself United Constitutional Patriots (UCP), has taken to posting footage of their activities on social media.  One recent Facebook live video shows masked UCP members detaining a group of around 200 migrants who had crossed the border near Sunland Park, New Mexico attempting to seek asylum.  In one video posted this week, masked UCP members can be seen shining their torches onto the migrant families as they sit on the ground in the darkness.  "They just keep coming… we caught the women and children first," a woman’s voice can…

The US authorities have launched a manhunt for a human rights activist accused of leading a violent raid of North Korea’s embassy to Spain, according to a federal arrest warrant that was unsealed on Friday.  Adrian Hong is the alleged ringleader of a seven-strong team behind February’s dramatic storming of the embassy who, claim the Spanish authorities, were armed with knives and iron bars, beat and tied up staff and stole computer equipment that was later offered to the FBI.  Spain is now demanding Hong’s extradition to face charges including breaking and entering, illegal restraint, robbery and causing injury.  Lee Wolosky, his lawyer and one-time US special envoy for Guantanamo…

Mike Pompeo, the Secretary of State, insisted that the drills did not cross international boundaries and posed no threat to the US, Japan or South Korea.
