    College Recruiting: state placewinner Pottinger to North Dakota State

    TJ Pottinger of Hastings has committed to wrestling for North Dakota State next season. Pottinger was the Class AAA 182-pound third-place finisher this season. He was a state entrant at 160 pounds as a junior and at 152 pounds as a sophomore. Pottinger originally committed to play Division I Lacrosse at Furman University in Greenville, South Carolina.     Intercontinental title match added to WWE WrestleMania 35

    The Intercontinental Championship will officially be on the line at WrestleMania 35. On this week’s Raw, it was confirmed that Finn Balor will challenge for Bobby Lashley’s Intercontinental title at WrestleMania. Balor defeated Lashley & Jinder Mahal in a handicap match to get the title shot. Balor pinned Mahal after hitting the Coup de Grace. Lashley attacked Mahal and The Singh Brothers after the match. Balor vs. Lashley & Lio Rush had originally been announced for Raw, but Rush cut a promo saying he wasn’t cleared to compete after being laid out by Braun Strowman in last week’s Lashley & Rush vs. Strowman & Balor tag match.     RevPro Live in NY results: Tanahashi & Ospreay vs. Suzuki & Sabre Jr.

    On Friday afternoon, Revolution Pro held their Live In NY event at WrestleCon at the Midtown Manhattan Hilton. Here are some results and notes from being there live which is available on Fite.tv. The show started late after a delay with some of the talent’s scheduled photo ops at the WrestleCon convention. The ring announcer thanked the fans for their patience and overall, this was handled well.  Chris Brooks & Jonathan Gresham defeated Clark Connors & Karl Fredericks This was a solid opener, but probably worked better as a live match than on the broadcast.     DJZ officially reports to WWE Performance Center

    DJZ is officially the latest wrestler to join the WWE Performance Center. WWE.com confirmed today that DJZ (real name Michael Paris) has signed with the company, noting that he reported to the Performance Center this week. In March, it was reported by PWInsider and confirmed by Dave Meltzer that DJZ signed with WWE and was headed to NXT.
