Viking Wrestling Honors Seniors, Falls to Beavers Saturday Afternoon SIOUX FALLS, S.D. — The Augustana wrestling team recognized its three seniors, Bailey Neises, Ben Kelvington and Regan Bye, Saturday afternoon before falling to the Beavers of Minot State by a score of 21-19. After losing the 125-pound bout, redshirt junior Brandon Carroll defeated Minot State’s Oscar Nellis 12-8 for the Vikings first win of the day in the 133-pound bout. Carroll logged four takedowns and a reversal in the match to bring the dual score to 3-3. Despite this week’s angle where he was written off television, Matt Hardy is set to make another appearance on Raw. WWE has announced that Hardy will face Randy Orton in a no holds barred match on Raw this coming Monday. There was a segment on this week’s show where Hardy was laid out with an RKO and a con-chair-to after he confronted Orton about Orton’s attack on Edge from the night after the Royal Rumble. After being laid out by Orton, Hardy tweeted “GOODBYE” and a link to his latest Free the Delete episode. Edge vs. Orton is scheduled for WrestleMania 36. Lance Archer making AEW debut on next week's Dynamite
On the same day on which he signed a multi-year deal with AEW, it was announced on Wednesday’s Dynamite that Lance Archer will make his promotional debut on next week’s show. Days shy of his 43rd birthday, Archer had been with New Japan Pro Wrestling the last three years working as both a singles and tag team wrestler, recently holding the company’s U.S. title before losing it to Jon Moxley at the first night of January’s Wrestle Kingdom. Snickers returning as presenting sponsor for WWE WrestleMania 36
Snickers is again partnering with WWE for this year’s WrestleMania. WWE and Mars, Incorporated have announced “an expansion of their long-standing partnership for 2020 in which Snickers will once again serve as the exclusive presenting partner of WrestleMania.” This is the fifth straight year that Snickers has been the presenting sponsor for the event. The partnership will include WWE wrestlers taking part in Snickers’ new “Fix the World” ad campaign. There will be three custom commercials produced.
