Backstage Update on Samoa Joe’s Injury & When He Will Return
It was previously reported that Samoa Joe suffered an injury which took him out of the Men’s Royal Rumble Match. Samoa Joe appeared as part of the panel last Saturday night at the Pre-Show of NXT Takeover: Philadelphia. Samoa Joe said that he is healing strong and quickly but he was not ready to get back into the ring yet. Samoa Joe reportedly suffered a right foot injury during the January 8th RAW win over Rhyno and it looks like he will be out of action until at least mid-March.

Report: WWE lays out taping schedule through SummerSlam
As running shows in front of full, or even partial, crowds doesn’t appear to be in the cards this summer, WWE has reportedly laid out their taping schedule for the next two months which will take them through SummerSlam. Post Wrestling reported the schedule first, noting that the original dates for August’s TakeOver and SummerSlam are intact. However, SummerSlam, originally slated for Boston, MA, has a location of TBD but will likely be at the Performance Center. AEW announced today that the final participant for the Casino Ladder Match is a mystery and they’ll be revealed at Double or Nothing. In his first appearance since WrestleMania 36, Styles qualified for the men’s Money in the Bank ladder match by winning the last chance gauntlet match on last night’s Raw.
