WWE Superstar Reportedly Off TV Due to Contract Dispute
– Ryback was not backstage for last night’s WWE RAW in St. Louis and is currently off TV due to a contract dispute, according to PWInsider. He just lost to WWE United States Champion Kalisto on Sunday night’s Payback Kickoff pre-show. Ryback was reportedly sent home and is off TV indefinitely. One version of the story going around says he asked to be pulled from TV. Ryack’s current contract expires this summer and the two sides have been at odds over negotiations for a new deal. TNA Star Shoots on Triple H and WWE NXT at EVOLVE 61 (Video)
Former TNA Champion Ethan Carter III made a surprise appearance at EVOLVE 61 in Queens last night, alongside the current TNA Champion Drew Galloway. Galloway was wrestling WWE NXT Superstar Johnny Gargano when EC3 hit the ring. EC3 cut a promo and knocked WWE NXT, mocking his time on the original NXT. EC3 referred to he and Galloway as two success stories that have succeeded despite “the machine” that is WWE. EC3 went on to apparently knock Bill DeMott. – TNA posted this promo for the June 12th Slammiversary pay-per-view from Orlando: – It looks like POP TV may have dropped the Saturday replay of TNA’s Impact Wrestling. There is no replay listed for 11:30am this Saturday as a “60 Minutes” replay is scheduled to air. The replay was just moved from late Tuesday nights to Saturday morning a few weeks back. Jimmy “Superfly” Snuka Ruled Not Competent to Stand Trial
A judge in Lehigh Valley, PA ruled today that WWE Legend Jimmy “Superfly” Snuka is not competent to stand trial in the 1983 death of then-girlfriend Nancy Argentino. A new hearing will be held in 6 months to re-evaluate competency but Snuka’s lawyers argued that his condition won’t be any better. Horner hints at Mercedes complicity in Racing Point case
Red Bull’s Christian Horner says Mercedes could be held legally accountable for its role in Racing Point’s brake duct saga. Racing Point was deemed in breach of F1’s technical rules by the FIA’s stewards for using on its 2020 car a listed part – its brake ducts – that was designed and supplied by Mercedes. The verdict prompted Ferrari, Renault, McLaren and Williams to signal their intention to appeal the €400,000 fine and 15-championship point deduction levied upon Racing Point, as they considered the verdict too lenient while it also allowed the team to continue using the controversial brake ducts this season.
