Impact Wrestling agreed to pay $336,602 in a repayment agreement filed on April 14, by Audience of One Productions, LLC for a breach of a “valid and enforceable contract” in the US District Court, Eastern District of Virginia, according to a report by PWInsider.com. Earlier today, WWE revealed the departures of numerous talents from NXT. All were relatively unknown with some not even making an appearance on NXT television. Chris Atkins was released from WWE for unknown reasons. He was only used sparingly at some NXT live events. He did, however, wrestle on NXT television on a few occasions, most recently against Eric Young back in January. He was signed back in 2015 after attending a WWE tryout. A US diplomat has told Congress he overheard Donald Trump on a phone call asking about getting the president of Ukraine to investigate Joe Biden. Mr Trump was speaking so loudly that the person he was talking to had to hold the phone away from their ear, allowing those nearby to hear what was being said. The call was described by David Holmes, the political counselor at the US embassy in Kyiv, in evidence given behind closed doors to the impeachment inquiry. It has been reported by Dave Meltzer that WWE has offered Io Shirai a contract to join the company, and that she has accepted their offer. Shirai is only 27-years old, and has been wrestling for about a decade already. South Dakota State head wrestling coach Chris Bono has announced that Saturday’s dual vs. North Dakota State has been moved from 6 p.m. to 4 p.m. to accomodate fans wanting to watch the Jackrabbit football team take on Northern Arizona in the FCS playoffs.
