INDIANAPOLIS – The NCAA has released standings for the 2013 NCAA Most Dominant Wrestler Award and most falls and tech falls in Divisions I, II and III. A minimum of 14 matches are required to be eligible for the Most Dominant Wrestler standings this week. That required match total will increase by one per week until 18 matches is reached. Athletes redshirting the 2013 season are not eligible for any of the award standings. In the Most Dominant Wrestler category, Ohio State’s Logan Stieber leads the standings for the second consecutive week in Division I with an average of 5.5714 points. ISawItFirst donates 135,000 pounds to the NHS
British fashion e-tailer ISawItFirst has raised 135,000 pounds for the NHS. The Manchester-based company teamed up with the Manchester Foundation Trust Charity in March to support those working on the frontline during the Covid-19 pandemic. The company raised the money by launching a 24-piece collection of t-shirts and selling them for 10 pounds each with all profits going to the NHS. Additionally, on Thursdays the e-tailer would donate 100 percent of its profits from its blue category – the colour traditionally linked to the NHS. Before Rock’s segment, the fan dressed as Savage was doing various Macho Man mannerisms and this is why fans were chanting “Randy Savage” during the show. Update on How Long Titus O’Neil’s WWE Suspension Is For, Video
– As noted, Titus O’Neil was sent home from Tuesday’s WWE SmackDown tapings and informed that he was being suspended due to unprofessional conduct. The incident came at the end of the post-RAW Daniel Bryan retirement celebration when Titus grabbed Vince McMahon in a move that was described as “playful, physical.” It was reported earlier that the suspension could be for up to 90 days. According to F4Wonline.com, WWE officials confirmed with them that the suspension is for 90 days. This means Titus will miss WrestleMania 32. COLLEGEVILLE, Minn. – Saint John’s placed six wrestlers in the top six of the 215-participant North Country Open on Saturday, Feb. 2, in Collegeville. Senior Mitch Hagen (Sunburg, Minn./Kerkhoven-Murdock-Sunburg), the fourth-ranked wrestler in Division III, went 3-0 with a pair of first-period pins and a decision in the semifinals at 184 pounds before falling to Minnesota’s Brett Pfarr 8-3 in the championship match. Pfarr is the younger brother of two-time SJU All-American Matt Pfarr ’12. Hagen is now 11-5 on the year.
