Kris Zellner of LuchaWorld.com is reporting that former WWE announcer Hugo Savinovich, who now works with AAA, is saying that Rey Mysterio is “done” with WWE and will be returning to Mexico’s AAA promotion soon. According to Dave Meltzer, Mysterio is still under a WWE contract until April and WWE still wants him to come back. Rey does not want to go back. Meltzer noted that if Mysterio doesn’t go back then they can extend his contract again. WWE does not want Mysterio showing up in Lucha Underground or AAA. In addition to Rey Mysterio, NXT tag-team The Ascension was brought to Buffalo, New York for WWE RAW this past Monday night. The Ascension are scheduled to debut on the main roster in the near future.
