source: ProWrestling.NET — WWE has started offering long-term contracts to several big stars with clauses strongly favoring the company. WWE has offered a five-year contract to Rey Mysterio and a ten-year contract to Randy Orton. The WWE contracts barely provide any way out for the wrestler, but are filled with out clauses that would let the company out of the deal. For example, if there is a three-year contract, WWE could break it at any time with just 90 days notice. Report Reveals 43 Percent Of The TNA Roster Being On Drugs Last Year
As reported earlier, Henry Waxman of the U.S. House of Representatives from California’s 30th district issued a report on the steroid problem in professional wrestling on Friday. In Waxman’s report, it was revealed that fifteen of the sixty TNA wrestlers who were tested for drugs in January 2008 tested positive for steroids. Additionally, eleven other TNA wrestlers tested positive for various other drugs, so 43% of the roster were on drugs this time last year. Mercedes technical director James Allison says the efforts to recover part of the downforce lost in the wake of this year’s regulations changes has taken his aero department on an “entertaining ride”. In a bid to limit costs, teams must carry into 2021 their current chassis.
