    M&S signs call to action over China’s forced labour of Uighurs

    Marks & Spencer is the latest retailer to agree to a call to action on human rights abuses in China’s Xinjiang region. The forced labour of Uighurs and other minorities in China continues as hard, manual picking in its cotton fields, much of which ends up in the fast fashion supply chain of the world’s high street brands. According to the BBC, M&S uses around 40,000 tonnes of lint cotton each year from various sources. The call to action comes from a coalition of civil society organisations and labour unions who want to end abuses against Uighur people.     – Yoshi Tatsu appeared to have injured his arm during the SmackDown brand’s tour of Asia. Tatsu wrestled Jinder Mahal in Shanghai, China this weekend and was visibly in pain during the match.     Great News For Jerry Lawler: No Brain Damage After Heart Attack

    The results are in from Jerry Lawler’s CT Scan and it’s great news for the King. According to Joe Cooper, who is Lawler’s best friend and business partner, Lawler does not have brain damage as a result of his heart attack Monday night. Lawler has been stabilized (but heavily sedated) in a Montreal hospital after having heart surgery Tuesday and is responsive. Lawler is said to have gone through an angioplasty procedure on Tuesday.
