WWE has canceled a planned live event in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada on February 9th, 2018 which was set to be the company’s debut at the new Rogers Place Arena. New regulations following the unfortunate death of a boxer following an Edmonton fight have been placed by the city’s council which ban all forms of combat sports, including wrestling. The pro wrestling ban will be in effect until December 31st, 2018, and it remains to be seen if the ban will be lifted after that date.
