In speaking after his team’s impressive 2-0 win over Nice last night, Lyon coach Peter Bosz cryptically discussed the surprise absence of German defender Jérôme Boateng. L’Équipe reported yesterday that the 33-year-old’s cantankerous attitude and recent altercations with Bruno Guimarães and Léo Dubois were the reasons behind his omission from the squad to play Nice. Bosz, however, said: “Jérôme Boateng? For me, he was not ready to play today… What can I say on that? Not much… I talked about it with him.
