Austin Aries Reflects On WWE Run, Responds To Online Troll, Luke Harper Thanks WWE
IMPACT Wrestling World Champion, Austin Aries responded to a fan tweet who reminded him that a year ago he was defeated by Neville at Extreme Rules.
Aries responded to the GIF which showed him staring and smiling at the camera claiming that life was never the same after it. Aries stated he was dejected and almost amused at his own failure and even went on to say he would love to face Neville again once his shackles are off and he has done serving his time.
And life was never the same…
Dejected, almost amused at my repeated failure, who’d have known this moment here would be the catalyst for so much future success.
And to my victorious opponent…I’d love to do it again, shackles off, whenever you’re done serving your time… https://t.co/mbxmwY1wUV

Aries was then hit by an online troll claiming that being a TNA Champion isn’t a success compared to being in WWE’s Cruiserweight division, and he responded claiming that his paychecks and quality of life would speak differently.
Hmm, my paychecks and quality of life sure says different. Maybe we define “success” differently…#TheTruth https://t.co/gjKxeI22zs

Just wanted to thank @wwe for producing such a wonderful piece about my journey.
My son Brodie, after watching the piece, called me in tears yesterday and said, "Dada, you just make me so happy."
I've never felt so accomplished as a human. https://t.co/jkNQdERcVz
