As we noted yesterday, wrestling legend Kamala, real name James Harris, underwent emergency surgery due to complications from diabetes.

According to Pro Wrestling Sheet, The Ugandan Giant’s stepdaughter says Harris is continuing to show signs of improvement. The former WWF star was able to open his eyes yesterday and doctors are attempting to wean him off the ventilator today, since he’s showing signs of improvement.

Kamala’s stepdaughter added the 67-year-old was rushed into the procedure due to his lungs and the area around his heart being filled with fluid, as well as other diabetic complications.
