Tottenham transfer news: Spurs to make second raid on Leeds United with summer move for £30m star Kalvin Phillips
Tottenham are reportedly set to make an offer for Leeds United midfielder Kalvin Phillips.
Spurs have already raided Marcelo Bielsa’s side this summer by signing teenager Jack Clarke for £9million, but he headed back to Elland Road on loan until the end of the season.
Phillips has been a star performer for the Championship club and is attracting plenty of Premier League interest.
The Mirror report that Spurs have entered the race for the 23-year-old and can offer him a significant increase on his £10,000-a-week salary.
The north London club also have the lure of Champions League football that some of their Premier League rivals cannot offer.

Aston Villa are thought to have already offered £11million while Newcastle are also said to be interested in Phillips, who has made 141 appearances for Leeds.

The Whites are believed to have put a £30million price tag on the versatile midfielder.
Phillips is also a boyhood fan of the club and it could work in Leeds’ favour as they try negotiating a new contract to keep him at Elland Road.
Leeds have offered him a new deal but he has rejected their opening offer.
Marcelo Bielsa’s squad are currently in Australia on a pre-season tour ahead of the new Championship season.
They face fierce rivals Manchester United in Perth next Wednesday before playing Western Sydney Wanderers three days later.
