Arsenal and Tottenham ‘still tracking’ Roma winger Cengiz Under despite him signing new contract
Arsenal and Tottenham are reportedly still tracking Roma winger Cengiz Under.
Both Premier League clubs have long held interest in the 22-year-old and have seen bids turned down for him in the past.
The Turkey international is one of the most in-demand players in European football with several top clubs chasing his signature.
The Gunners and Spurs reportedly saw bids turned down for Under in January with the Serie A club thought to value him at around £45million.
Italian newspaper Il Messaggero claim that the two Premier League sides are still scouting the Roma player.
The second half of his 2018/19 season was hampered with repeated muscle injuries but he is back to full fitness at the start of this campaign.
Under has already hit the ground running for the Serie A side as he scored in their first match of the season.
He is unlikely to be leaving Roma anytime soon, though, as he put pen to paper on a new contract earlier this month.

Under will be at the club until at least 2023 following his four year extension.
“I arrived in Rome two years ago and since then, day after day, I’ve felt more in love with this city, this club and these fans,” Cengiz said.
“This is a very happy moment for me. I want to thank the club for allowing me to realise my wish to continue playing for Roma.”
