Liverpool star Sadio Mane risks wrath of Jurgen Klopp with Instagram post appearing to mock Manchester United

Liverpool forward Sadio Mane risked the wrath of manager Jurgen Klopp last night as he posted pictures appearing to mock Manchester United on Instagram.

The Reds forward, watching the game in Marbella as the club continue their warm weather training in Spain, posted twice to his Instagram stories during the Red Devils’ 2-0 loss to Paris Saint-Germain.

He first put a picture of their Premier League rivals 2-0 down with ‘Hummm’ as the caption and then a picture of himself and Klopp laughing while sat on the floor.
His manager is unlikely to be happy with the social media activity given the lengths he went to when commenting on Kyle Walker’s post about Liverpool’s draw with Leicester City.

The Manchester City player posted his own version of a popular meme involving Foxes star Harry Maguire but deleted it as it went viral.

Reacting to Walker’s tweet, Klopp said: “I cannot help that. I am not sure what that says about us, it says something more about the other person.

“I never celebrated that another team dropped points or lost a game. For me that’s not allowed.”

This could mean Mane is at least in for a talking for his indiscretion on Tuesday night.

The Senegal international did delete the post of the Manchester United game but kept the picture of himself and his manager online.
