The Magpies paid Sparta Prague £4.3million to make the goalkeeper’s loan move permanent last summer after he impressed in the second half of the 2017/18 campaign.
Dubravka has fought off competition from Karl Darlow and Rob Elliot to nail down the number one spot under Rafa Benitez and now Steve Bruce.
On signing a fresh six-year deal at St James’ Park, the Slovakia international told NUFC TV: “It is an amazing feeling.
“I have to say that it feels like time has flown. It’s been almost two years and I’ve found great people here who I can call friends.
“I’ve enjoyed my time here and I’m very glad that I can stay here for another six years.”
Outside of last season’s top six, only Everton’s Jordan Pickford (14) kept more Premier League clean sheets than Dubravka (11).
And the 30-year-old looks set for another healthy return after registering three shutouts in Newcastle’s opening nine league games this term.

Magpies boss Bruce said: “I’m really, really pleased that Martin has committed his future to the club.
“He’s been absolutely fantastic since the day he arrived and he’s a hugely important figure for us both on the pitch and in the dressing room.
“He’s a massive part of our plans for the future, so it’s great that he’s agreed to stay with us for the next few years, and a fitting reward for his performances.”
