Manchester United interested in January transfer for Bayern Munich forward Thomas Muller – reports
Manchester United want to sign Thomas Muller in January, according to reports.
The 30-year-old has struggled for playing time so far this season, starting just three Bundesliga games.
He is behind Kingsley Coman, Serge Gnabry and Philippe Coutinho in the pecking order at the Allianz Arena and has spoken of his unhappiness playing second fiddle.
“I’m absolutely not [satisfied with the situation].
“I am just 30 years old, fit and hungry for success – with the club, but also personally, I am firmly convinced that I can help the team on the pitch.
“A coach has to make difficult decisions before each game. However, the trend in the past five games does not make me happy.
“If the coaching team only sees me in the role of a substitute player in the future, I have to think about it. I’m just too ambitious for that.”

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side have lacked firepower this term and have failed to score more than one goal in a game since the opening day of the campaign.
The manager has even suggested the club will look at more experienced players – providing they are worth the money – to come in and help his young side.
The lack of goals have been costly to United, who are languishing in 14th place after nine Premier League matches.
Muller was heavily linked with a £90million move to United in 2014, but opted to stay at Bayern Munich.
He has been integral to Bayern’s success over the past decade, scoring 110 goals in 326 Bundesliga games, while Mario Mandzukic is another player said to be under consideration.
