Mexican Archaeologists Discover Flayed Lord Temple Where Priests Wore Skin Of Sacrificial Human Beings

In a notable discovery, Mexican archaeologists have found a temple where a deity named Flayed Lord- a pre-Hispanic fertility god was depicted as a skinned human corpse, Associated Press reported.

The worshippers of this deity were said to wear skins of sacrificial human beings. During the recent excavations of Popoloca Indian ruins in the central state of Puebla, two skull-like stone carvings were discovered on Wednesday.
