Famed IKEA Restaurant Fined Rs 11,500 After Customer Finds A Worm In Veg Biryani

The Swedish Multinational furniture brand, IKEA opened its first ever store in India on August 09 this year. The store is spread over 4 lakh square feet in the Hyderabad’s IT hub of HiTec City.

The brand is known for its ready to assemble furniture pieces. Excited consumers, many of who had already shopped in posh U.S or Singapore stores couldn’t hold the butterflies in their stomach.

While all kinds of assessments were done on whether the store will become the cynosure of the Indian audience, a huge traffic jam brought the city life to a standstill.
