20 KM Wide Liquid Lake Discovered On Mars, Giving Confirmation To Alternative life On The Planet
For many decades scientists have believed that there is a possibility of life on Mars. Presence of water in liquid form under the surface of the red planet is a key element to human existence.
An Italian team consisting of eleven members headed by Professor Roberto Orosei of the Istituto Nazionale di Astrofisica in Bologna have discovered a 20 kilometre wide lake that sits under southern polar ice cap of Mars. The finding has further given confirmation to the decade old argument, if Mars has a persistent water body or not.
