Week 15 PPR Rankings: WR | Sporting News
There’s a lot to take in with our Week 15 fantasy WR PPR rankings. For starters, you have the subtle differences between the PPR rankings and standard. At this point in the year, there isn’t much mystery left. A few guys who regularly receive more targets move up, but the favorable matchups work the same for both. Even more important, you have all the injuries that could send these rankings into flux.
Mike Evans’ hamstring injury could open things up for Breshad Perriman or Justin Watson (@ Lions); DeVante Parker’s concussion could be what Allen Hurns and Isaiah Ford (@ Giants) need to break out; DJ Chark’s ankle injury has Dede Westbrook and Chris Conley (@ Raiders) on notice; and Calvin Ridley’s abdominal injury has Russell Gage (@ 49ers) back on the radar. We also need to keep track of existing injuries to Will Fuller (hamstring), Adam Thielen (hamstring), JuJu Smith-Schuster (knee), and T.Y. Hilton (calf).
WEEK 15 NON-PPR RANKINGS:
Quarterback | Running back | Wide receiver | Tight end | D/ST | Kicker
For PPR purposes, the Fuller injury is an interesting one. Keke Coutee, who was seemingly out of the rotation in Houston, stepped up in Fuller’s absence last week, catching five-of-eight targets for 68 yards. Part of that was do to ample garbage-time opportunities, but Coutee was known as more of a PPR receiver coming into this season, so he would be an interesting WR3 sleeper against Tennessee next week if Fuller is out again.
WEEK 15 PPR RANKINGS: Running back | Tight end
For now, we’re in a holding pattern with these rankings. As we hear injury updates and players inevitably start getting declared out, we’ll adjust. This is a must-win week for fantasy owners, and you’ll likely have to gamble with at least one of your WR spots. Fortunately, there are favorable matchups for a lot of borderline plays, so that will help, but start ’em, sit ’em decisions won’t be easy either way.
Reminder: Check back for updates during the week.
