28-Year-Old Woman Held For Killing Parents, Child For Objecting To Her ‘Lifestyle’

Mothers are the epitome of love and compassion and no woman can even think about hurting their family. However, in a shocking case, a woman was arrested in Kerala’s Kannur after she confessed of killing her parents and her nine-year-old daughter by poisoning them in a gap of four months this year.

Police said that they cracked the crime after questioning 28-year-old Soumya for over 13-hour. According to a report by IANS, Soumya was taken for questioning when she was convalescing at a state-run hospital near Kannur after being admitted for nausea and indigestion which happened to be the same symptoms that her parents and her elder daughter suffered just before they passed away.
