With Assembly Elections In Mind, Shivraj Singh Chouhan Government In Madhya Pradesh Accords Minister Ranks To Five Babas

In a rather unusual move that has left many questioning the motive behind, the Shivraj Singh Chouhan government in Madhya Pradesh has awarded Minister of State (MoS) ranks to five Hindu sages.

Narmada Anand Maharaj, Hariharanand Maharaj, Computer Baba, Bhaiyyu Maharaj and Pandit Yogendra Mahant were first appointed to a committee for Narmada conservation which accords them MoS status, with a monthly allowance of Rs 7,500 each and other benefits.
