The Premier League rivals played out a dull goalless draw at Molineux meaning they’ll need a replay to decide who makes it into the next round.
Either Watford or Tranmere await the winner in the fourth round.
United smashed Norwich 4-0 while Wolves drew with Newcastle at the weekend and now both will be eager to keep their cup runs going.
