After Drive Thru Graduation, Grads Test Positive For Coronavirus

ATLANTA, GA — Several students at The Lovett School in Atlanta have tested positive for Covid-19 after a drive thru graduation, according to a letter from the school. It doesn’t state how many students have tested positive.

“The school has been notified by several Class of 2020 families that their students have tested positive for COVID-19,” the letter from Head of School Meredyth Cole and Head Nurse Shana Horan said.

Families of the infected students “are working with the appropriate healthcare professionals and Departments of Health,” according to the letter.

The Lovett School closed its campus in mid-March. The school is an independent, coeducational day school that serves students kindergarten through 12th grade, according to the website.
