WWE Allotting Seven Hours For SummerSlam, News on US Title Match

WWE has told cable companies that SummerSlam could run for up to seven hours in total – beginning at 5PM ET for The Kickoff Show and having a latest end time of midnight ET. This would make it seven hours, though that would be the most extreme case as The PPV is still expected to run closer to six hours and concluding around 11PM ET.
The announced Jeff Hardy vs. Shinsuke Nakamura WWE United States Title Match is still expected to be changed to a Triple Threat Match which will also include Randy Orton. Dave Meltzer stated on a recent edition of The Wrestling Observer Radio Program that every angle on TV has also involved Orton and so it’s probably a given that he will be included in the title match.
