Ronda Rousey Training Video, Goldberg HOF News, Mexican Signings
All eyes will be on Ronda Rousey when she finally makes her WWE in-ring debut at WrestleMania this year after leaving the world of MMA to become a professional wrestler. Rousey is teaming up with Kurt Angle to face Triple H and Stephanie McMahon at the event. Before that can happen, Rousey has been training hard for her first wrestling match at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida. WWE recently released footage of Rousey training for her upcoming match, including one video featuring herself and her best friend Shayna Baszler getting into a scuffle. WWE has been announcing the individuals who will be inducting this year’s inductees into the WWE Hall of Fame lately. The company just confirmed this week that Molly Holly will be inducing Ivory while Edge and Christian will be doing the honors for the Dudley Boyz. It was originally reported a while back that Paul Heyman would be inducting Goldberg into the Hall of Fame this year, but those reports were never confirmed by WWE. Several weeks later, the Wrestling Observer Newsletter has now stated that there are indeed plans for Heyman to induct the WCW megastar into the Hall of Fame during the ceremony. Expect WWE to officially confirm that Heyman will induct Goldberg sooner rather than later.
It was recently reported that WWE was planning on launching a Latin American tournament featuring Hispanic wrestlers from all over the world on the WWE Network later this year. William Regal would eventually shoot down those rumors, but it appears that WWE is indeed interested in acquiring some new Latin American talent after all. The latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter revealed that WWE is hoping to sign a few different Mexican performers to NXT deals. Interestingly enough, Garza Jr. and Ultimo Ninja are both reportedly undergoing medical testing with WWE right now. If they can pass their tests, the belief is that they will both be signed to work on NXT later this year.
