WWE Raw video highlights: AJ Styles returns

Raw’s go-home show for Money in the Bank saw AJ Styles make his return and qualify for the pay-per-view.

In his first appearance since WrestleMania 36, Styles qualified for the men’s Money in the Bank ladder match by winning the last chance gauntlet match on last night’s Raw. Styles entered the gauntlet as the last entrant and submitted Humberto Carrillo with the Calf Crusher to get the win.

Styles attacked Carrillo after the match, repeatedly ramming his leg into the ring post. Styles then got on the microphone and cut a post-match promo. He addressed his lost to The Undertaker at WrestleMania by saying that he may have gotten buried alive, but he isn’t a zombie or a ghost. Styles also claimed that he didn’t actually lose the boneyard match because there were no rules.

Styles vowed to do anything to win Money in the Bank, even if that means throwing other participants off the top of WWE headquarters.

Last night’s episode was headlined by Drew McIntyre defeating Murphy. Rollins watched the match from the ramp and then got on the apron. McIntyre wanted Rollins to get into the ring and fight him, but Rollins initially backed off and went to the back. As McIntyre’s back was turned, Rollins reappeared and gave him a superkick.

Rollins yelled that this isn’t about McIntyre, it’s bigger than both of them. He then picked up McIntyre’s WWE Championship belt and stared at it. Rollins put the title down and went for a curb stomp, but McIntyre caught him and gave him a headbutt. McIntyre went for the Claymore Kick, but Rollins avoided it and bailed.

Also on last night’s show, Raw’s participants for the women’s Money in the Bank ladder match appeared on the VIP Lounge with MVP, The Viking Raiders defeated Raw Tag Team Champions The Street Profits in a non-title match, Charlotte Flair took on Liv Morgan, and Shane Thorne & Brendan Vink got a win against Ricochet & Cedric Alexander.
