It appears that Jeff Hardy and Sheamus’ bar room brawl won’t be taking place at Extreme Rules and has been pushed back to next Friday’s SmackDown. There was a backstage segment on SmackDown last night where Sheamus gave Hardy a Brogue Kick while Hardy was being interviewed about the match. Sheamus said he’ll see Hardy on SmackDown next week.
Naomi responded to “#NaomiDeservesBetter” trending on Twitter after her loss to Lacey Evans on SmackDown last night: “Wow! I know y’all got me you always have! I appreciate you all so so much! Thanks for the continuous support and believing in me #bestfans #glowmob #naomob #wweuninverse”
Big E honored Jemel Roberson and Akai Gurley by writing their names on his armbands for last night’s SmackDown.

AEW’s Austin Gunn tweeted that he’s been cleared to return after suffering a torn PCL in January: “UPDATE: I suffered a torn PCL in my left knee during my debut match in January. I’ve been doing PT since then to make sure my injury is taken care of, so I come back even stronger. the GOOD NEWS, is that I’m officially cleared! the Son of a Gunn is BACK #GunnClub”
Jack Evans wrote that AEW has continued to pay him despite him not being able to wrestle since the COVID-19 pandemic began: “I’m not trying to diss any other promotion, but #AEW let me do a 4 minute monologue using only First Person Shooter references and not to kiss ass but I am going to, @TonyKhan has continued to pay me despite the fact I haven’t worked a 1/4 of the year. Dana White spoke about the status of Tyron Woodley vs. Colby Covington: “It’s a fight we’re working on. Listen, Woodley said he wanted to fight him. Woodley’s been talking about fighting Colby Covington since Colby fought Usman, so it is true that Colby signed the deal and he’s ready to go. We’re just waiting on Woodley.”
Woodley said he’ll face Covington but just needs to reset first.
Paige VanZant reacted to White saying she got smoked in her fight against Amanda Ribas and should definitely test free agency: “Honestly, I didn’t actually see specifically the quote or what he said. I try not to pay attention too much. It’s unfortunate because I feel like I have a really good relationship with Dana. I feel like I thought we were closer friends and he could text me or call me. Something to have a little bit of compassion, something to communicate with me personally but maybe he will. We just don’t know. I’m sure it’s an uncomfortable situation.”
