Not only was is shocking to see Chris Jericho return to New Japan Pro Wrestling earlier this year, but fans believe that he delivered during his match against Kenny Omega at Wrestle Kingdom 12. As a result, Jericho is sticking around with New Japan for a little while. He attacked Tetsuya Naito during the New Year’s Dash event, perhaps signaling that a match between the two is forthcoming. According to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio, the current plan is for Jericho to take on Naito in March when New Japan returns to the United States for their Strong Style Evolved show. The event takes place at the Walter Pyramid in Long Beach, California on March 25th
