Alexander Will Face Gulak, Lesnar NOT in Creed 2, Darren Young
Rich Swann was set to face Drew Gulak in a match on Raw this week with the winner receiving a match against Enzo Amore for the Cruiserweight Championship. Due to Swann’s recent suspension from WWE, the match was cancelled. No exact reason why Swann was taken out of the match was given during Raw this week, but another Fatal 4-Way match took place on the show with the winner taking Swann’s place. Cedric Alexander defeated Ariya Daivari, Mustafa Ali, and Tony Nese to earn the match against Gulak. Alexander will face Gulak on Raw next week and the winner will face Enzo Amore for the cruiserweight title at some point in the future.
After the success of the Rocky reboot film Creed, it was only a matter of time before a sequel was commissioned. Actor Sylvester Stallone has teased that the film may revolve around the Ivan Drago character from Rocky IV. Not only that, but Stallone posted a cryptic Photoshopped image of himself fighting current WWE Universal Champion Brock Lesnar. Naturally, fans began to speculate that Lesnar had joined the cast of the new film, however, Stallone has since updated his original post claiming “this is just for entertainment, Drago’s son will be played by a new unknown.” The sequel is currently scheduled to be released in theaters on November 21st, 2018.
Big challenges come in all shapes and forms! By the way this is just for entertainment, Drago’s son will be played by a new unknown…#brocklesnar #rockybalboa1976

Darren Young was released from WWE earlier this year after spending over seven years with the company. He was a member of the original Nexus faction, and he also was a tag team champion during his time with the company with Titus O’Neil as part of the Prime Time Players. Despite being released, Young’s wrestling career does not appear to be over. WrestlePro has announced that Young will be in action for a match and a meet and greet session during a show in Union, New Jersey on March 9th. Young has since been announced for a few more independent wrestling shows since then. Expect to see Young step back in the ring starting in early 2018.
