WWE 205 Live Results (10/31): Fright Night Fatal 4 Way

The show starts with a video package recapping the feud between Drew Gulak and Akira Tozawa over the past few weeks. The video shows Gulak injuring Tozawa’s vocal chords after hitting him in the throat with his sign, but now Tozawa is back to get some revenge.
Vic Joseph and Nigel McGuinness welcome us to the show. They hype up what will take place on tonight’s show. Cedric Alexander has to make a decision whether to join Jack Gallagher and The Brian Kendrick or not, Swann vs. Kendrick in one-on-one action and a No DQ Fright Night Fatal 4 Way Match between Mustafa Ali, Gran Metalik, Tony Nese, and Ariya Daivari.
Drew Gulak vs. Akira Tozawa: Before things got going, Gulak is on the mic. He starts by saying “Where my ghouls at?!” Gulak says that he is going to put an end to Tozawa’s chants and wants to make Halloween even better through his Power Point presentation. First slide (of 47) reads “No Candy”. He says the he wants kids teeth to be stronger. Moving to slide number two, it reads “No Trick or Treating,” because it is like chanting and there is nothing worse than chanting. As he goes to number three, Akira Tozawa comes out.

Tozawa hits Gulak with a big kick to start things off and we’re right in to some mat wrestling. Tozawa hits Gulak with a kick to grounded him. Tozawa hits a standing senton, followed up by a number of stomps in the corner. Gulak bails to the outside, but Tozawa goes after him by hitting a dive, but Gulak moves away from his opponent, taking some time to recover. Back in the ring, Gulak is able to gain control of the match, by doing some work in the corners with elbows. Tozawa finally uses his speed to get away from Gulak. Tozawa hits a nice suplex to Gulak as he heads up to the top. Gulak bails to the outside again, but this time Tozawa nails him with a suicide dive, and he tosses Gulak back into the ring, he pins him, but only a two. Tozawa continues the momentum. He drops Gulak near the corner and he heads up top again. This time he hits the senton splash and he pins him for the 3 count. Winner: Akira Tozawa
We get a video package recapping last week’s segment where Kendrick and Gallagher tries to get Alexander to drop the “dead weight, dancing clown” Rich Swann.
We head backstage where we see Cedric Alexander approach Rich Swann in the locker room, and he says that he can’t believe the heels thought he would abandon his friend. Swann says that he didn’t even listen to Kendrick and Gallagher last week, and Alexander says that he has to, because they called him a clown. Rich says that he doesn’t care, which upsets Alexander. Alexander says that you have to stand up to people who run you down. But if Jack and Kendrick want a clown, Alexander says that he will give them a clown. He hands Swann a red nose, and Swann nods knowingly.
We head to another area backstage where Mustafa Ali is being interviewed about how hard it was to avoid monsters trick or treating in his hometown of Chicago. He said that he learned an important lesson which is always get your candy. He holds up a jack o’ lantern bucket and smiles.

We get a recap of last night’s Raw segment where we see Gulak and Amore laying waste to Kalisto. After which, we are informed that Kalisto will get another shot at regaining the Cruiserweight Title from Enzo Amore at Survivor Series.
The Brian Kendrick (with Jack Gallagher) vs. Rich Swann (with Cedric Alexander): Doink’s entrance music hits as Alexander and Swann both come out as clowns. Swann has giant gloves on as Kendrick tries to do a test of strength, but Swann ends up turning it into a dance. Kendrick charges in and Swann drops him to the mat and mocks Kendrick. Kendrick tries to get Swann to be serious, but it’s not working as he gets a giant thumb to the eye. Swann finally ditches the hair and gloves and hits Kendrick with some big elbows in the corner. Swann gets dumped to the outside and Gallagher looks to swing his umbrella at him. Kendrick hits a baseball slide on the distracted Swann. Kendrick hits a release german suplex on Swann and pins him, but Kendrick only gets a two-count on Swann.
Kendrick throws Swann chest-first into the corner and pins him, but Kendrick only gets a two count. Swann recovers and catches Kendrick sitting on the top rope. Swann hits a slick hurricanrana followed up with a kick to the face of Kendrick while Kendrick was trying to get up. Swann pins Kendrick, but only gets a two count. Kendrick goes for a Captain’s Hook, but Swann was under the bottom rope to break the hold. Kendrick holds it in for a bit long. Swann and Kendrick climb to the second rope. Kendrick hits a butterfly superplex to swann and pins him, but only a two count.

Kendrick goes for a second Captain’s Hook, but Swann counters and nails a superkick that sends Kendrick to the outside. Swann hits a huge dive to the outside, the tosses Kendrick back in. Swann goes up to the top rope, but Gallagher tries to distract him. Alexander yanks Gallagher down. Swann gets pulled down by Kendrick and he hits his head on the top turnbuckle, but he still hits a superkick to drop Kendrick. Swann hits a phoenix splash from the second rope that lands pretty terribly and he goes for a pin and gets the 1-2-3. Winner: Rich Swann
Gran Metalik does a promo where he points out that tonight is the start of Dia De Los Muertos and that he invited his ancestors to watch his performance tonight, as he plans to honor them with his performance.
For the next match which is the Fatal 4 Way Fright Night Match, the ring has been decorated with pumpkins and skeletons and there is a table with candy corn-colored kendo sticks, candy and other plunder on the floor. 
Daivari makes his way down to ring with a mic to tell us a horror story. He tells us that the cruiserweight division was on the verge of disappearing, zeros were disappearing from bank accounts and 205 Live was cursed. But there was a knock on the door, and he was the one brave enough to open it for Enzo Amore. Now Daivari Dinero’s bank account is open, too. He starts to run down Virginia in Farsi when Ali’s music hits.
Tony Nese is out next as he does his usual posing and jawing. Metalik is out last. Ali tries to give candies to everyone and Nese really doesn’t want to take the candy. Nese tells him that “I don’t eat candy! Halloween is stupid!” as Nese smacks the candy to the skies. 
Ariya Daivari vs. Gran Metalik vs. Mustafa Ali vs. Tony Nese (Fright Night Fatal 4-Way No DQ Match): The match starts with Metalik lifting Ali up as he hits a nice dropkick on Daivari. It is only Ali and Metalik in the ring. They each perform a lot of flipping and they counter each other into a stalemate. Ali goes for a handshake and in comes Daivari and Nese. Metalik gets his face smacked on a table on the floor. In the ring, Ali tosses a pumpkin in Nese’s face, then Ali grabs some candy and tries to make Nese eat it. Daivari is in for the save. Daivari goes for a pin on Ali, but Metalik dives in for the breakup. Metalik heads to the top rope, but Daivari yanks him to the mat. Daivari grabs some candy and throws it on the ground. Someone from the crowd yells “What the f—?!” and we have a few seconds of silence. There is a mask in the bucket. Daivari puts it on and mocks Metalik. Daivari and Ali climbs on top of the second rope and Ali ends up getting the mask. Ali grabs a skeleton that’s on the ring post and puts the mask on the skeleton. Ali tosses it on Daivari. Metalik shows up and walks the ropes and hits a missile dropkick. Nese sneaks a kendo stick to Daivari. Nese and Daivari take turns smacking Ali with the kendo sticks.
Ali is put in a tree of woe as Nese does some ab crunches and chucks pumpkins at Ali each time. Metalik tries to springboard in and gets a kendo stick to the stomach. Daivari pins him, but only a two count. Ali throws a pumpkin at Nese and Daivari to halt whatever they were doing. Daivari and Ali heads to the outside and Nese mistakenly knocks Daivari into a bucket of apples. Metalik hits a high crossbody that takes out Nese. Metalik tosses Nese in the ring. Ali has some candy in hand and shoves it in Nese’s face. Metalik hits a superkick to nese and Ali goes for the pin. Metalik breaks it up and these two are now going at it. Metalik hits a nice spinning facebuster to Ali and pins him, but only a two count. Metalik puts Ali up on the top rope, but Nese ruins it. Daivari hits a Sunset powerbomb/superplex combo to Ali flying from out of nowhere and pins him, but only a two count.
Daivari brings in a table, but Metalik slams a pumpkin into Daivari’s face, lays him on the table and heads to the top rope. Nese smacks him in the back with a kendo stick, grabs the bag and drops out a ton of candy corn. Nese is not at all happy with this development and he goes up to the top, but ends up getting back body dropped through the table and the candy corn. Daivari breaks up the pin. He throws Metalik to the ring post and focuses his attention on Ali. Ali throws a pumpkin pie in Daivari’s face and kicks him to the face. Ali grabs a broomstick, goes to the top and hits a leg drop using the stick. Ali pins Daivari and picks up the win to end the show. Winner: Mustafa Ali
