Larry "The Axe" Hennig Passes Away

— Former AWA Tag Team champion, Larry Hennig, passed away today at the age of 82. Apart from a distinguished AWA career, Hennig was also a standout amateur wrestler as well, but was perhaps best known for being the father of the late WWE superstar “Mr. Perfect” Curt Hennig as well as the grandfather of current wrestler Joe Hennig aka Curtis Axel.
