Details on Four Wrestlers WWE is Considering as Ronda Rousey's Partner at WM 34

— In his latest column at Sports Illustrated, Justin Barrasso discusses the plans for Ronda Rousey at WrestleMania 34 as well as the women’s title matches that are currently scheduled.

— As we have noted before multiple times, the plan remains to have Alexa Bliss face Nia Jax for the Raw Women’s title and for Asuka to challenge Charlotte Flair for the Smackdown Women’s title.

— That leaves Rousey to compete in a mixed tag match against Triple H and Stephanie McMahon. The story adds that WWE’s choices for a partner for Rousey are: The Rock, Kurt Angle, Shane McMahon and Seth Rollins in order of most preferred to least.

— The Rock’s situation is well documented as his various movie contracts make it difficult and sometimes impossible for him to engage in any sort of physical contact. The reason for this is because any injury would wreak havoc on filming schedules and cost hundreds of thousands and perhaps millions of dollars depending on the situation. The others are all backup plans with Seth Rollins the unexpected alternative – though not illogical given his history with HHH and Stephanie, likely now possible with his match against Jason Jordan cancelled.
