Mamadou Sakho still set to miss EURO 2016, despite being cleared of doping
Since yesterday, Mamadou Sakho has been given back the right to play professional football. UEFA, who suspended him until further notice because of a drug test that was taken on the 17th March, after the Europa League encounter between Manchester United and Liverpool, have decided not to prolong his suspension any further, being fully expected not to take any further action against Sakho. Between now and Tuesday, a committee of UEFA experts are due to meet in order to make a definitive decision in this case. PSG attempting to push ahead for Antoine Griezmann
According to L’Équipe, PSG are continuing to attempt to push ahead in an effort to sign Atletico Madrid attacker Antoine Griezmann. He has also yet to extend his contract with Atleti, which has caused rumours to swirl about his future. AS Monaco have announced the departure of French defensive midfielder Jérémy Toulalan for Bordeaux. Toulalan spent three seasons with ASM, but the player had wanted to return closer to home and to finish his career at a club nearer to his family. Marseille & Crystal Palace agree fee for Steve Mandanda
Premier League side Crystal Palace have agreed a fee with Marseille for the transfer of French international goalkeeper Steve Mandanda, according to L’Équipe. Kamil Glik confirms AS Monaco move
Polish international and central defender Kamil Glik has confirmed that he will be joining AS Monaco after EURO 2016 in an interview with Przeglad Sportowy. Sochaux today have confirmed that central midfielder Thomas Guerbert will leave the club to join Clermont Foot on a two-year-contract. The central midfielder was about to go into the final year of his contract at the Ligue 2 club, but the 27-year-old who spent three seasons as Sochaux will move on to fellow Ligue 2 club Clermont Foot. Guerbert joined Sochaux in 2013 from Dijon for £1.31M, making 51 appearances in that time, scoring one goal and grabbing four assists.
