UEFA, who suspended him until further notice because of a drug test that was taken on the 17th March, after the Europa League encounter between Manchester United and Liverpool, have decided not to prolong his suspension any further, being fully expected not to take any further action against Sakho. He has also yet to extend his contract with Atleti, which has caused rumours to swirl about his future. Sochaux today have confirmed that central midfielder Thomas Guerbert will leave the club to join Clermont Foot on a two-year-contract. The central midfielder was about to go into the final year of his contract at the Ligue 2 club, but the 27-year-old who spent three seasons as Sochaux will move on to fellow Ligue 2 club Clermont Foot. Guerbert joined Sochaux in 2013 from Dijon for £1.31M, making 51 appearances in that time, scoring one goal and grabbing four assists.
