Bret Hart Pays Tribute to Burt Reynolds

As previously reported, legendary actor Burt Reynolds passed away on Thursday due to cardiac arrest at 82-years-old, prompting an outpouring of support from the wrestling community. Reynolds famously acted as the celebrity guest ring announcer for the main event at WrestleMania X, which saw Bret Hart defeat Yokozuna to win the WWF Championship.

“The Hitman” took to Twitter this afternoon to pay tribute to his fallen friend, noting that he actually had the chance to catch up with Burt recently. Hart called him a “real fan” who “thoroughly enjoyed the event, the wrestlers and fans.”

Tyler Breeze Crashes NXT Buffalo

In case you missed it, Smackdown Live Superstar Luke Harper made a surprise appearance at Thursday night’s NXT Buffalo live event in New York, crashing an open challenge made by NXT North American Champion Ricochet.

Raw brand star Tyler Breeze was also in-action at the show – yet another member of the WWE roster currently operating without their tag team partner. Breeze scored a victory over NXT up-and-comer Marcel Barthel.
