Brie Bella Reportedly ‘Relieved’ Following John Cena and Nikki Split, Felt Nikki Was Sacrificing Too Much

As noted, news broke earlier this week that John Cena and Nikki Bella have ended their relationship of six years, also ending their engagement which took place inside a WWE ring at WrestleMania 33.

According to a new report by People, Brie Bella has reacted to the news of the Cena and Nikki split, and was concerned Nikki was sacrificing too much for Cena.

“On one level, Brie wants to kill him, sure. No one should be allowed to hurt her sister like this. But honestly, on another level, there’s relief,” the source says. “Nikki was bending over backward to accommodate this guy and everyone, especially Brie, was worried that she was sacrificing way, way too much — most of all, motherhood.”

The same source noted that moving forward, Nikki’s family remains optimistic that the Total Divas star will find someone who can give her a marriage and a family.

“There’s some relief that at least Nikki can go forward and find someone who will really give her everything she’s dreamed of,” the source says. “Because that guy isn’t John. Never was.”
