Wolves fan receives three-year ban for throwing pie at West Ham supporter
Wolves have banned one of their fans for three years following an incident in which a pie struck a West Ham fan in the head. The commotion took place in Molineux’s Steve Bull Stand during Wolves’ 3-0 victory over the Hammers on 29 January. Josephine Johnson from Lockside View, Rugeley, initially claimed she hit the travelling fan by accident. However, upon viewing CCTV she abandoned her excuse and came clean. The defendant and season ticket holder, pleaded guilty at Walsall Magistrate’s Court and will not be able to attend a game until February 2022.
