Lille target Trabzonspor goalkeeper Çakır as Maignan replacement
Mohamed Toubache-TER reports this afternoon that Lille are continuing their hunt for a goalkeeper to replace Mike Maignan, now at Milan, with Trabzonspor’s Uğurcan Çakır identified by the board as a potential target. Nevertheless, a deal remains complicated for the Turkish international, while Altay Bayındır of Fenerbahçe is also on Les Dogues’ shortlist. West Ham draft €17m bid for Marseille defender Ćaleta-Car
As reported earlier this week by Get French Football News, Premier League side West Ham have revived their interest in Croatian defender Duje Ćaleta-Car this week, and are readying an offer according to L’Équipe. The Marseille man, who turned down the Hammers last year, was also the subject of interest from Liverpool last January but the Ligue 1 side refused to sell their centre-back. Negotiations are now currently underway for the Croatia international, with West Ham readying an offer of €14m which could rise to €17m including bonuses. Marseille defender Luan Peres’ house burgled
La Provence report this morning that Marseille defender Luan Peres’ house was burgled during the night, while the Brazilian was still at the Vélodrome for his team’s warm-down after the game against Bordeaux. One or more individuals reportedly entered the 27-year-old’s villa at around 1 in the morning and took with them a range of personal items – branded clothes and shoes, as well as jewellery. Canal + report tonight that Rennes midfielder Eduardo Camavinga is set to sign for Real Madrid, with the French international currently undergoing his medical. Despite initial reports linking Camavinga to Paris Saint-Germain throughout the summer, Los Blancos appear to have beaten Les Parisiens to the 18-year-old’s signing. According to Canal +’s Paul Tchoukriel, Rennes and Real Madrid have reached an agreement and only have a few details left to iron out.
