Foot Mercato report this afternoon that Lyon manager Peter Bosz could be on his way out at the end of the season, with the club drafting up a shortlist of potential replacements. The latest two names to be added to it are former Monaco manager Niko Kovač as well as Julien Stéphan, currently of Strasbourg after leaving Rennes. Santi Aouna of Foot Mercato reports tonight that Barcelona sporting director Mateu Alemany has travelled to Marrakech and is set to meet with Ousmane Dembélé’s agent, Moussa Sissoko. The Frenchman, whose contract expires at the end of the season, has been at the centre of a renewal saga that reached its apex in January when he was frozen out of the squad due to his and his agent’s demands. Jemerson leaves FC Metz
FC Metz have announced the termination of defender Jemerson’s contract by “mutual consent” as reported by L’Équipe on Friday. Having only arrived in back in October on a short-term deal that ran until the end of the season, he leaves the Ligue 1’s bottom side with just four games to go. In a press release from the club, it cited “personal reasons” as the reason for the former Monaco man’s early departure from the Lorraine club, whilst thanking him for their “common adventure”. Journalist Fabrice Hawkins reports that Marseille president Pablo Longoria is looking to bring in Manchester United defender Eric Bailly on a permanent deal this summer. OM had already made an attempt this winter to sign the Ivorian on a loan deal, and are now looking to go back in for him at the end of the season. Mauricio Pochettino says he and Kylian Mbappé will remain at PSG next season
Speaking in his press conference ahead of Paris Saint-Germain’s match against Strasbourg tomorrow, Mauricio Pochettino has indicated that he would be likely to stay at the club next season, along with Kylian Mbappé. Kylian Mbappé agrees contract extension in principle with PSG
Le Parisien report that Kylian Mbappé’s contract renewal with Paris Saint-Germain is now within sight, with talks accelerating and an agreement in principle now in place. The forward’s representatives, and notably his parents who manage his interests, have accepted president Nasser Al-Khelaifi’s offer and given their agreement in principle. Mbappé will earn €50m net a year, as well as a signing-on bonus of €100m. He will sign a two-year contract with an option for an additional year.
