Celtic make opening €1.5m + bonuses bid for Rennes right-back Brandon Soppy

Eurosport report that Scottish side Celtic have this week made an opening bid to Rennes for their 18-year-old right-back Brandon Soppy.

The bid is believed to be worth €1.5m + bonuses. Soppy is under contract with SRFC until June 2021. RB Leipzig are also interested in attaining his services this summer, whilst Rennes will try to convince him to stay and integrate into their 1st team, with current 1st choice right-back Hamari Traoré apparently set to depart.
