Chelsea star Tammy Abraham equals historic record set by Cristiano Ronaldo and Dele Alli with hat-trick against Wolves

It seems the days of sending an army of starlets out on loan are no more at Stamford Bridge – and Tammy Abraham is profiting the most.

The Chelsea youngster has sensationally equalled a record set by Cristiano Ronaldo and Dele Alli this weekend, having netted a hat-trick against Wolves for his SEVENTH Premier League goal in just five matches.

A double at Carrow Road against Norwich City was followed instantly by another at the Bridge against Sheffield United.

And now Abraham has replicated the feat once again and put his name amongst esteemed company.

The striker has become only the third player aged 21 or younger to score at least two goals in three consecutive Premier League matches, after Ronaldo, in December 2006, and Alli in January 2017.

His treble came after another academy Fikayo Tomori opened the scoring with an absolute screamer.

On just his second appearance for Chelsea, the defender produced a moment of magic to give his side the lead.

After Willian played a short corner to Mason Mount, the playmaker tussled for possession before the ball fell to Tomori – who was miles out.

But he took everyone by surprise after leathering it with such swerve that left Rui Patricio with no chance

And his thunderbolt even got Gary Lineker talking on social media.

The Match of the Day presenter tweeted: “Absolutely superb goal from Tomori for @ChelseaFC, another of Frank’s young stars.”

Remarkably, Abraham also netted a fourth in the game – but for the wrong side.

He bundled’ Roman Saiss’ header into his own net to to become first player in Premier League history to score a hat-trick and an own goal in the same game.

Tomori, who was on loan at Derby last season and won their Player of the Year award, was deployed on the right side of a back five as Frank Lampard switched up his tactics for the clash in the Midlands.
