Cody Rhodes Congratulates Dusty Rhodes Classic Winners, Viper Comments On Her NXT UK Debut

Last nights WWE NXT saw the finals of the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic take place and the son of the WWE Hall Of Famer, Cody Rhodes has commented.

Despite no longer being a part of the company, Cody Rhodes has always had a very positive outlook on the annual tag team tournament which takes place in honor of the American Dream.

This year saw the newly formed team of Ricochet and Aleister Black walk out as victors, winning the tournament and earning an NXT Tag Team Championship shot at NXT Takeover: New York in the process. After the match was over, Cody Rhodes took to Twitter to congratulate this year’s winners.

Viper Comments On Her NXT UK Debut

Last night also saw the latest episode of WWE NXT UK take place, which saw the highly anticipated debut on Viper (a.k.a Piper Niven), who was making her first appearance on the show.

This marked Niven’s first WWE appearance since the original Mae Young Classic, a tournament in which she impressed highly. Speaking about her debut the Scottish wrestler took to Twitter, saying she is sorry for being late, as she had a few loose ends to tie up, but now she is going to make some new friends.
